The Ibis is one of the trio of sweet wines, named for one of our co-owners, Dr. Shereef Hilmy. Dr. Hilmy is originally from Egypt. The Egyptian god Thoth is the patron of knowledge, his sacred bird being an Ibis. As a renowned cardiologist, its not a stretch to associate Dr. Hilmy with the Egyptian bird of knowledge. The Ibis is a classic and refreshing sweet white, perfect to enjoy with a good book.
