One of our co-owners, Marianne Hilmy, originally hails from the beautiful country of Denmark. The skovrose is one of a trio representing the Hilmy family and their journey. Skovrose (pronounced skoh-voh-suh) means wild or forest rose in Danish. This rose is light in color and full of flavor. Reminiscent of a wild honeysuckle on a relaxing spring walk through nature.
