The Pàssaro is Hilmy Cellar’s first iteration of a Port. Legally, only port from Portugal can be named port; similar to Champagne vs sparkling wine. This dessert wine is made in the traditional manner, fortifying towards the end of fermentation to retain the natural grape sugars for sweetness. Made with Tinta Cao grapes, this dessert wine is the perfect sweet treat for sophisticated individuals.
